CIVIL has taken on a new road construction project for the new route of Highway No. 9 at Ban Bang Toey, connecting with Highway No. 3214 at Ban Phrao, Section 3, covering a distance of approximately 1.300 kilometers. The project, valued at 899.35 million baht (including VAT), is under the Bridge Construction Bureau of the Department of Highways in Pathum Thani. Revenue is expected to be recognized in the fourth quarter of 2024, enhancing the connectivity of the transportation system along the main highway covering the Bangkok metropolitan area.

Mr. Piyadit Asawasirisuk, CEO of Civil Engineering Public Company Limited (CIVIL), a leading comprehensive construction company in Thailand, announced that the company has secured a contract for the new road construction project along Highway No. 9 at Ban Bang Toey, connecting with Highway No. 3214 at Ban Phrao, Section 3, between kilometers 3+450.000 and 4+750.000, covering a distance of approximately 1.300 kilometers in Pathum Thani. The project is valued at 899,351,480 baht (including VAT) and was awarded through an electronic bidding process (e-bidding), with a contract signed between Civil Construction Services and Products Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary) and the Bridge Construction Bureau of the Department of Highways.

The contract for the construction project was officially signed on September 24, 2023, with the work period set from September 25, 2023, to September 9, 2026, totaling 1,080 days. Revenue is expected to be recognized starting from the fourth quarter of 2024 onwards.

This project aims to enhance transportation connectivity along the main highway in the East-West Corridor of Pathum Thani and address traffic issues in the Bangkok metropolitan area and major urban development zones. It will improve the highway network to facilitate travel between the western and eastern regions, providing greater convenience and speed for road users in the project area.
